“Juneteenth 2015 Family Fun Day in the Park” provides local and area citizens an opportunity to participate in a festive atmosphere celebrating African American heritage and independence. There will be food, live entertainment, health screenings and more. We invite a variety of food & retail vendors along with healthcare specialist to showcase their best entrée’s, products and services to the community. This event will benefit our focus on rebuilding communities’ one family at a time through providing means in educating on the importance of one’s health personally and within their family. Event is hosted by KWBT 94.5 The Beat, Empowerment Driven Knowledge Coalition, & The Movement Group LLC. This event attracts over 6,000 participants and is the largest event in Central Texas dedicated to “Entertaining, Encouraging and Empowering” African Americans to put their health and families FIRST.
